Faith, Hope & Charity Luncheon

JOIN US EVERY WEDNESDAY  FOR OUR FAITH, HOPE & CHARITY LUNCHEONS 12PM – 3PM

Please note:

Our lunches will be closed for 2 months this winter. Wednesday December 11th is our last lunch of the season.

We will re-open on February 12th, 2020

Join us for a buffet luncheon that Chef Mark and his team prepare, to show how we can all take part in cooking with local foods. Nothing fancy, no linens, self-serve, just offering the beauty of the Palais Royale and the beauty of Ontario cooking to you. Proceeds go to three of our favourite charities. Minimum $20.00 donation.

Please note: Reservations can be made only for 6 or more guests. Reservations must be made at least one week prior to the desired date, or they may not be able to be accommodated.

Our Charities:

Hellenic Hope Centre

Established in 1999 when 6 mothers of children with special needs met to discuss the need for a support mechanism for themselves, their children and their family members to meet to discuss and create programs which provide support and services to people with physical and special needs and their families. Day programs for adults with a developmental disability age 21 and older is currently the main focus.

Dorothy Ley Hospice

The Dorothy Ley Hospice offers programs and services designed to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of individuals living with a life-limiting illness.  They also serve their caregivers, close friends and the bereaved. There is no cost, thanks to the generosity of donors and government funding.

Join the Dance Canada

Launched in 1994 as a not-for-profit project of the American Ballroom Theater Company from New York City, Join the Dance Canada is an arts-in-education program teaching ballroom dance to grades five and six students of participating Toronto schools. Subject of the documentary film Mad Hot Ballroom and its founder Pierre Dulaine, this is hailed as an effective program for not only teaching social dance but also creating an atmosphere which allows students who are typically introverted and reserved, to step out and shine. It builds self-esteem and interactive social skills as it improves confidence and children’s ability to relate to others.
